1. Cancellation Policy
At Sonipat Home Service, we understand that plans can change. We have designed a flexible cancellation policy to accommodate our customers' needs.
1.1 Free Cancellation Period
- Before Service Confirmation: Cancellations made before the service is confirmed are completely free of charge.
- More than 24 hours before scheduled service: Full refund available.
- Between 12-24 hours before scheduled service: 50% refund or rescheduling option available.
- Less than 12 hours before scheduled service: 25% refund or rescheduling option available.
1.2 Late Cancellation
- Cancellations within 2 hours of the scheduled service time will be charged 100% of the service fee.
- No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full service amount.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Full Refund Cases
- Cancellation made more than 24 hours before service
- Technician fails to arrive within the promised time frame
- Service quality not meeting our standards
- Double booking or payment errors
2.2 Partial Refund Cases
- Cancellation between 12-24 hours: 50% refund
- Cancellation within 12 hours: 25% refund
- Service partially completed: Refund for remaining portion
2.3 Non-Refundable Cases
- No-show without prior notice
- Cancellation after service has started
- Services completed successfully
- Cancellation due to customer unavailability at scheduled time
3. Rescheduling Policy
- Free rescheduling available up to 12 hours before service
- Rescheduling within 12 hours: ₹100 rescheduling fee applies
- Maximum 2 rescheduling attempts per booking
- Rescheduling to a different date requires minimum 24 hours notice
4. Service Guarantee
We stand by the quality of our services. If you're not satisfied with the service provided:
- 7-Day Service Guarantee: Free re-service within 7 days if the same issue recurs
- 30-Day Warranty: On parts replaced during service
- Price Match Guarantee: If you find a lower price for the same service, we'll match it
5. How to Cancel or Reschedule
You can cancel or reschedule your booking through any of these methods:

6. Refund Processing Time
- Credit/Debit Card: 5-7 business days
- Net Banking: 3-5 business days
- UPI/Wallets: 2-3 business days
- Cash Payments: Immediate refund (if applicable)
Note: Refund processing time depends on your bank/payment provider. Razorpay processes refunds instantly, but it may take 2-7 days to reflect in your account.
Emergency Services
For emergency services (plumbing, electrical, AC breakdown during extreme weather):
- No cancellation fee if technician hasn't been dispatched
- Once technician is on the way, cancellation fee applies
- 24/7 emergency support available
